It starts with a drive to Fort Saskatchewan and the Fort Heritage Precinct.  Over 140 years of history all in one place including the North West Mounted Police Fort and the village from the turn of the century.  See the west in a whole new light.  Then off to explore one of Canada's coolest national parks during the beautiful winter season?  After a short bus ride, spend the afternoon exploring Elk Island National Park. Break out your inner nature nut as you take in the free range oasis for Plains Bison, elk, moose, deer, and coyotes.  From our dropoff location at Astonin Lake, you can take a guided snowshoe through some of the nearby trails and on to the lake itself. At 145 PM board the bus to return back to Edmonton filled with stories and adventures of the tour.

Snowshoes are provided by Haskin Canoe.

Be prepared for winter weather.  This tour includes being outdoors and you require tuque, warm coat, boots (or running shoes for snowshoes).  It is up to you to be dressed for the weather.
